Sammy is wonderful story for the the little ones with delightful illustrations by an extremely talented 18 year old illustrator, Allison Giles.&nbsp; Patricia located Allison through the Brentwood High Schools Art Departments and hired her to illustrate Sammy. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;\">An Allegory. Sammy, the Snowshoe Hare and his parents wear people snowshoes. Why? When this question is posed to Sammy he doesn&#39;t know the answer. He seeks to find out why from Orin the wise old Owl, but Sammy doesn&#39;t understand Orin&#39;s answer. Shortly thereafter, an unexpected life experience helps Sammy discover the answer &#8211; that he doesn&#39;t really need to wear additional snowshoes to be a Snowshoe Hare.
